about claire

i mostly grew up in the suburbs of the twin cities in minnesota. after college, i bopped around to west virginia, pennsylvania, florida, washington, texas... and now to ontario, canada! i'm super grateful for my family and loved ones, and for where life has taken me so far.

i studied environmental geosciences at the university of notre dame. i have an mba and shrm certification. after trying on a few different types of roles, i found my way to human resources and have found where i belong.  i enjoy doing meaningful work, solving problems, and empowering people to define their own paths.

the list of things that bring me joy is long— quiet mornings, sunrises and sunsets, starry nights, picnics outside, exploring new places, a good book (or even better, a really good bookstore!), a clean home, art museums, oceans and beaches, poetry that makes me feel my feelings, yummy foods, good coffee, and spending time with the people who feel like home.

kimchi is a four year old scottish straight. he loves food, trash, and staring longingly out the window while refusing to go outside. in between meals and playtime, kimchi enjoys hours long naps and attending claire's virtual meetings. don't be fooled by the cute face, he is a menace.
